Who Is My Ideal Couple for a Destination Wedding?

It’s very common for wedding planners and vendors in general to focus on one question:  How do we become the best possible service provider? How do we become what couples are looking for?

I’ve shared a lot about that side of the equation: my experience, my perspective, and the standards I bring to every wedding I plan.

But this week I want to talk about the other side of the coin. Who is my client? More specifically… who is my ideal client? Who are the couples I feel I can help the most.

And there’s a pattern I see again, and again.

It’s usually a couple deeply in love. An overwhelmed bride standing in the middle of a sea of options, unsure where to start. And a supportive groom standing next to her, looking at her with compassion and love, wanting to help however but not knowing how.

Often, he doesn’t initially care about every tiny detail of the final product. What he cares about most is that the woman he loves enjoys this moment in their life. He understands that her mental clarity and peace of mind matter.

That’s my client…

It’s not someone looking for something “free.” It’s not someone trying to cut every corner. It’s a couple that simply wants to enjoy being engaged, and are looking for the right expert support.

They know in their hearts that there must be an easier way. That somewhere out there is someone that knows destination weddings and who can guide them with kindness, clarity, and honesty. Someone they can trust to help them make decisions without stress.

My ideal client understands that this kind of peace of mind comes from experience. And they’re comfortable investing in that expertise.

So, in this week’s I want to explore that relationship with you. How the right couples find me, and why the connection between planner and couple can feel like the perfect match.

Because when the right couple meets the right planner… magic happens.
